Picasa & Photofiltre September 28, 2006

I’ve read about this software, Picasa, from the newspaper sometime ago and I had it on my computer since then. I think it was recommended and reviewed by Jim Paredes. I use it together with another software he recommended, Photofiltre.
I just used Picasa this time when it had an update. It locates and sorts all my images into visual albums organized by date. It also has photo editing/retouching features, but I use Photofiltre instead. And what I like with Picasa is the Web Albums feature. I can easily upload my photos to my own web album. And I have a whooping 250 MB of space. How’s that? With my old image hosting, they just allow me 70 MB of space or 350 pictures, whichever comes first. That’s why I had a lot of account there.
And what great about these softwares are they’re freeware.

Birthdays are occassions for looking forward to the making of plans, for dreaming dreams, and hoping they will come true.
Speaking of Birthdays, I need to make a plan for my birthday bash ASAP. It’s gonna be October next week and I ain’t got any cohesive plan yet. I only got ideas of what will be the dress code, the motif, the theme, and the booze. But I still got problems with the venue. I can’t think of a place where to hold the party. Last year it was on Joc’s apartment and it was a blast. I don’t want to hold it at my place, if I do, i’ll spend my time in the kitchen rather than entertaining and mingling with friends. I want to be all over the place having fun and enjoying the night. And I don’t want to spend a lot of moolah for a place. I rather spend that cash on booze and cocktails or a maybe a band. Problems, problems. I need to think fast. I need to make it a bash.
Ooops gtg, I need to make the inivitation for Kenny Mae’s Birthday Virgin Forest Party.

Beach Hopping September 25, 2006

I am bored with my current hair do and I was supposed to get a new haircut with a friend yesterday afternoon. But instead we ended up beach hopping together with B. We didn’t actually swim but we just spent the whole afternoon driving from one beach to another. First stop was San Diego beach then Matabungkay Beach.
It was fun, I had the time catching up with B. (We rarely spend time together nowadays.) And at the same time with One3. Arrgh, my nose almost bled. Hahaha.
Hmmm, I’m now doubting if I still wan to get a new hairstyle.
Hmmmm…

Memory Lapse 2 & Raven got a Check up September 23, 2006

Looks like I’m not the only one who have a memory loss the other night. I asked someone what happened that night, but he too cannot remember well what took place. He had memory loss too! Hahaha. IMHO, he’s much worse than me, he didn’t remembered how he closed their store, how he got in their house and the worst - he didn’t remembered he puked in his bed. He was the joke in his family when he woke up. They told him it was his youngest brother that puked in his bed and he totally believed it because he had no memory about what happened. I had an embarassing experience like that but I’ll not talk about it cause it’s way way much embarassing.
The two of us who suffered from memory loss brought Raven to the motor
shop this afternoon. I brought Toffee along so he will stand as the "spokeperson" for Raven
cause I’m not familiar with the particular things that need to be
check, clean and/or adjust and repair. In the end, Raven was tuned up, got his oil changed, his
battery charged, carburator cleaned, and other minor maintenance I know
nothing of. I think his in tip toe shape again.
BTW Marco is with me that night and he’s also drunk but not to the
extent of having a memory loss. He confirmed that some other
friends dropped by and we still had some beers after the brandy that Toffee partially remembered. I am
totally unaware of it. I learned from him that the four of us closed the store. And that he, Marco,
picked me up and brought me to the cafe. I immediately asked Marco if I
have done or said something stupid and I am very thankful I haven’t. I
had a total blackout for the events that took place that evening.
Enough of my memory loss cause what’s the point of talking about it if I myself can’t remember what happened. Hahaha. But there’s one memory I can’t forget even if I am devoid of the whole details and feelings. What important is I remembered it, and it did happened.

Memory Lapse September 22, 2006

I was fucking sober last night I had a memory lapse. The last thing on mind was when were almost done on the small bottle of local brandy. After that I didn’t know what happened. I didn’t know what time we finished drinking. I didn’t know how I got myself in my friend’s cafe. I just knew that I woke up 5 am and drive home.
I took the morning off again because I woke up half an hour late and not because I’m hungover, because I’m not. I was itching to blog the moment I stepped in the library but alas the OfficeStation was still being set up by technicians and they’re using my extension cord so I can’t use my PC right away. The whole system was placed on the wrong area, and it will be a lot of work to move the eleven units. It was okay cause I’m the one to blame why it wasn’t placed on the area I wanted it. And partially they will all be transferred next month to the high school library where the new Internet Laboratory and Multimedia Library will be.
I waited for 3 hours to blog and up to now I don’t know about some of the details that happened last night. But one thing I am certain of, the dream was for real.
